Ian Laverty

Managing Director

Ian  is the founder and Managing Director of Ingenuity.  A highly motivated individual with a career background in Sales & Marketing before developing into Business Strategy through an MBA and a number of Senior Management and Director appointments.

Ian is an accomplished public speaker who is regularly invited to speak on Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media and Leadership & Management subjects within the UK.

Most recently he has worked within Digital Marketing to develop digital marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies for national brands.

As an experienced business consultant, Ian has extensive experience of working in a Leadership & Management Training, Coaching and Mentoring capacity to Micro, SME and National Corporate Senior Management, Owners and Directors.

Maria Gordon

Programme Administrator

Maria is one of the co-founders of Ingenuity in Northern Ireland and brings many years of business and project administration experience to the business. She is a meticulous administrator and has provided reporting, communication and information between Ingenuity and many Programme Managers.   Maria manages the whole programme administrative process attendance, funding, forecasting and client invoicing for all of Ingenuity’s programmes, exercising prudence whilst providing a speedy and effective service to our clients and programme participants.

Dennis Laverty

Business Consultant

Dennis is a co-founder of Ingenuity. He is a highly motivated self-starter who has guided over 500 individuals to successfully start their own business – that is businesses that traded for a minimum of 3 years.

He has a unique style in the learning environment which has been recognised and commended nationally, having reached the final of the National Training Award in recognition of a custom-designed training Programme.

Dennis’s sales career includes numerous Salesperson of the Year accolades as well as a number of Sales Manager of the Year Awards.

Dennis has years of beneficial experience delivering training courses in sales, sales management, Sales Director Development, Project Management, Negotiation Skills & Business Development on behalf of micro businesses, SMEs and corporate PLC’s.

Paul White

Associate Consultant

Paul has been working with Ingenuity since 2013. Paul specialises in people, business, sales and leadership development. He has a passion and belief that every individual and organisation has the potential to be better at what they do.

With a career that has spanned 29 years in the public and private sectors Paul has achieved success in the Financial Services sector, the Education sector and now as a Business Consultant. Paul has worked in many senior management role which has given him the experience of being a forerunner in influencing and leading change.   Paul has worked with a range of clients, whether supporting them with early business ideas, establishing SME businesses to develop longer term strategy or multi-national organisations to develop skills and growth related initiatives.

He has also managed a range of programmes funded by stakeholders including the Department for Employment and Learning and Belfast City Council.

Brigid has been working with Ingenuity since 2013 and has considerable experience, specialising in business management, leadership development, export sales and project management.

Brigid has direct experience of starting, growing, developing and selling a business and now works with micro-, SME and large corporates to improve management skills and operational efficiency.

Brigid is an accredited trainer of Sage Line 50 Accounts and was awarded the Ifactory Business Mentor Award in January 2014.

An expert digital marketer with experience of having run her own web development and digital marketing business. Amy is highly capable in social media, email and digital marketing. A strong career background and sales and marketing has been supplemented by a CIM Diploma in Digital Marketing bringing to Ingenuity a vast array of modern marketing capability.

Amy is responsible for Ingenuity’s marketing as well as supporting a number of our clients with their marketing activities. Amy is also responsible for the marketing and recruitment of businesses onto Programmes delivered by Ingenuity.
